About Us

Founded in 1987 by a group of friends bonded over their shared passion for barbecue excellence, the Dripping Springs Cook-Off Club has grown into a cornerstone of the culinary community. Originally sparked by a friendly rivalry over who could grill the best barbecue, our club now proudly hosts a seven-category cook-off as a highlight of the Founders Day Festival every Spring. We also celebrate the flavors of autumn with our Chili and Salsa competition. Beyond these events, the DS Cook-Off Club is deeply committed to supporting our local community, actively participating in various fundraisers throughout the year.
