DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED AGAIN\, SORRY\nOur Second Annual Bean and Cornbread Cook-Off is June 7th at 12Fox!\n\nRegistration will be on-site starting at 8am June 7th and will be open until head cooks meeting!\n\nPlease review our rules and guidelines.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSome Rules and Guidelines\n\n\n\n\n\nGENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS\n\n\nSet up/Check in time for competitors: 8:00 am\nHead cook meeting: 10:30 am\nSpace Locations are on a first come\, first serve basis.\nThis cook-off we are allowing you to cook on whatever you’d like\, Electric\, Charcoal\, Open Fire!\nEach team must have a head cook.\nHead cooks must attend the Head Cook meeting to receive judging containers.\nBean and Cornbread ingredients will be inspected after the head cook’s meeting.\nTeams must supply their own equipment\, supplies and ingredients.\nAll grease drippings must be contained and disposed of properly.\nTeams must supply their own water and tent canopies for shade.\nElectricity will be available.\nThe Head Cook is responsible for all cleanup of the team’s space.\nThe Head Cook is responsible for the conduct of their team and their guests.\nThe Cook-off Club officers reserve the right to make additional regulations as situations warrant.\nDecisions of the officers shall be final.\nExcessive use of alcoholic beverages will be grounds for disqualification.\nAll rules will be enforced and refusal to abide by them will results in immediate disqualification and eviction from the grounds with no refund of fees paid.\n\n\n\n\nBEAN COOK-OFF AND CORNBREAD CONTEST RULES\n\n\nEntry Fees: $25 for Beans and $15 for Cornbread.\nTurn in times: 12:30 for Cornbread and 1:30 for Beans\nOnly dried pinto beans may be used in this cook-off\nPre-soaking of pinto beans IS allowed\nNO pre-seasoning of pinto beans allowed prior to the event\nNO commercial seasoning mixes or canned beans allowed\nAny additions (meat\, vegetables\, etc.) to the pinto beans may NOT be more than twice the size of the beans themselves\nPinto beans will be judged on aroma\, appearance\, and taste\nPinto beans will be presented in 20 oz. cup\nAll corn bread must be made from base ingredients – corn meal\, flour\, eggs\, etc.\nNO corn bread mixes of any type allowed\nSupplemental items may be included in the corn bread\, such as peppers\, onions\, corn\, honey\, etc.\nNO topping of any type may be added to the corn bread after it is cooked\nCorn bread may be prepared as muffins or in pan\nCorn bread may be cooked in any manner available at the event\nCorn bread presented for judging shall be half-muffins or 1 ½ inch squares if pan prepared\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration onsite starting at 8am!\n$25 Entry Fee for Beans\n$15 Entry Fee for Cornbread
